cool vid for sure. I work with all of Propellerhead. My next step is to get
a mpc5000. So this vid without a question is for me and others in my shoes
or similar. Peace
Hey, you’ve got a really good channel going on. I don’t know if this would
interest you, but we are currently doing a competition based on creating a
video review of a music product with the chance of winning up to £150 off
new gear. Give me a shout if you’re interested and I’ll message you the
link, or join us on facebook (/absolutemusicuk) and get the details off
there. Closing date is 17th November! Keep up the good work!
How do i sync the mpd26 ? help would be appreciated
I think the usb is only for the HDD (well thats how it is on the 5000) so a
usb to midi wont work. you need a soundcard like the cakewalk (with midi
and usb on it) for it to work
@ThaDopist yeah you can use that mixer (or any 2 channel mixer) and the
cakewalk soundcard is like an mbox. I dont really use protools but i guess
the setup would be similar…glad the vid was of some help….
@cellularrepublic1 no you cant do usb midi with the 5k, the usb is only for
the hdd
Hey man, I’ve got an MPC4000, I’ve got both the USB from mpc to PC and the
USB to MIDI cable. I’ve tried using both, the PC recognizes it but it won’t
sync with Reason 5 even after your steps. In the advance settings it
recognizes the USB connection, but when I try sync it on Keyboards and
Control and try find it, it doesn’t reognize anything I press on the
MPC4000. Would I need the MPC CD for Reason to recognize it? or that
soundcard thing you used?
Cant you do USB midi with the 5k?
hey bro. i followed your instructions and got everything set up. but the
mpc wont record my midi notes from the keyboard i can trigger them from the
keyboard but i cant record my sequence. but it does trigger and record midi
notes when i use the mpc pads it works fine. can you help me thanks
@djsoops How do you put the finished beat/track from the mpc (inluding
sounds from reason) to the computer? With logic pro or something)
How to export the tracks from mpc to reason?
I’m using reason 4, axiom 61 midicontroller, mpc 2500, ua-25 ex cakewalk
audio interface. Every is hooked up right. I can play the sounds from
reason on my keyboard aswell on the mpc. Also recording sounds from reason
into the mpc is possible. But when i shut down reason, the mpc won’t
recognize reason sounds anymore (MIDI). How do you mixing the finished
beat? Put it to one file? Let me know man, thanks.
What kind of mixer do you use? do you have any recommendations mixer?
Is it possible to do with a fantom g mpc 2500 and a duet 2? The duet don’t
have MIDI what’s the piece I would need to add ? Thanks
